Medicare Supplement Insurance

As you approach age 65 it is time to start thinking about Medicare. For people over 65 it is recommended that you buy a supplement for Medicare that will cover the areas that Medicare does not cover. In order to purchase a Medicare Supplement you must first be enrolled in Medicare with the government. You can sign up for Medicare at http://www.medicare.gov and it is recommended that you do this, about three months before your 65th birthday.

After you have been accepted for Medicare and are in an open enrollment period, you can then use this link to sign up for a Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Supplement Plan by clicking here: BSBS_Medicare_Quote (some computers will require you to use Ctrl+Click to follow link - Ctrl is located just under you Shift key on your keyboard).

As a note when slecting plans, the most popular plan is Plan F.

None of the supplement plans cover Rx Drugs. For this you will need to enroll in Medicare Part D, to do that please call 1-888-731-7503, most people do this after filling out the online quote for the Medicare Supplement.

If you have any questions about Medicare and the supplemental plans please feel free to give me a call or send me an email. If you would like I can also come to you home if you are in the Denton or Fort Worth area of Texas.
